But carrying "Every Day" is something I've done since high school. From a utility aspect, having a knife on you is simply handy, but for me its more important. Its a symbol of preparedness, a Utilitarian mindset..

This is my first Full Tang EDC knife, I love my folders but I always found myself wanting something in between. The reliability of a Full Tang Knife, but the comfort of something slim and discrete.
This EDC Prototype features just under a 3.5" Blade, with a Strong, and aggressive Tanto. Deep jimping for control and a sleek handle ring. The ring on this knife was a first for me, Drilling the 1" hole presented a challenge with my tiny but normally sufficient table top drill press. The ring allows you to quickly and reliably pull it out of it's sheath in a deep carry configuration. It's also quite addictive to spin, as the great balance of this blade gives it a pleasant feel in the hand. This is also the reason I decided to go without handle scales as I was going for something ultra slim. To my surprise, it's quite comfortable to hold and use as long and your not trying to tear through something with crazy resistance.
