MY FIRST KNIFE BATCH
- FIRST EDC KNIVES IN PRODUCTION -
MAKING IT GREAT- I spent countless hours deciding how I wanted to approach my Knives, from a production standpoint and from design. I didn't want to stop until I felt like I had something great. My first Prototypes were 3D printed, this allowed me to quickly get a feel for size and scale. A rough sketch followed by 3D Modeling, and a prototype in minutes. It's my favorite way to work and consider my 3D printer one of my best investments.
As much as I love my "one off" Knives, I wanted something repeatable. I tested multiple sizes, getting a feel for what felt like a practical "Carry Knife" while remaining a respectable size. Slim and discreet but capable. Once I found this balance I worked on refining my design, and thinking through how I would be able to manufacture them efficiently while prioritizing quality.
- I'm confident in what I carry, I want my customers to have this feeling too.
What you see here is the 3rd Generation profiles of my EDC design prepped to have bevels ground in. These Knives have Aggressive jimping for control, a little over 3.5" blade and will vary in finish. Designed for a slim profile, the raised spine increases strength. The finger ring allows for quick deployability with IWB carry (inside wasteband), and better control. Handles scales will vary from synthetic materials to select premium hardwoods. more to come on that..
